I got my belly button pierced on Friday. Is it okay if I use Ivory liquid hand soap to clean it?

I got my belly button pierced on Friday. Is it okay if I use Ivory liquid hand soap, instead of Ivory bar soap, to clean it?


Is it okay if I use Ivory liquid hand soap to clean it? Also, is it okay if i use H2Ocean sea salt spray in addition to soap?

hey; i got ma belly pierced about a year ago...


I would suggest using dial hand liquid soap, i was using ivory and it didn't help it, ma belly got infected after three months so i switched soaps and it healed very nicely. The chapping and redness is from the soap Ur using. The spray is good to use i used it because i had got mine pierced down the shore.

well i haven't heard of using ivory soap on piercings at all....


i have always been told to use saline solution, sea salt, glycerin or anti bacterial soap,but ya its ok to use h2ocean on top of other cleaning products. just be sure so not over clean it and not to use alcohol or peroxide
