A posh resort's hand soap had small bits of brown material embedded in it. What was it & what's the purpose?

The material was similar to tiny bits of wood. Is it just a gimmick, or is their some authentic benefit from these bits.A posh resort's hand soap had small bits of brown material embedded in it. What was it %26amp; what's the purpose?
probably smashed walnut shells. its used as a pumice to remove dead skin as it's more abrasiveA posh resort's hand soap had small bits of brown material embedded in it. What was it %26amp; what's the purpose?
well it could be lemon grass or it could be oats, it could be a lot of things, sometimes they are beneficial, sometimes just for looks.
It depends on what those bits actually are. They could be there as a ';sloughing'; agent or just for their escential oils.

If they are Camomile stems, they're there to sooth your skin.

If they're Sandle Wood bits, they're there for scent.

If they're bits of loofah they're there to help exfoliate.

It all depends on what those ';bits'; are.
I suppose it's some form of herb that was used to scent the soap. But then again the entire cake of soap could be made out of sawdust b/c they can get it for free at the kiddie's playground.
It could've been for exfoliation. Some manufacturers put it in to slosh your hands of dead skin. I suggest you go to the website of the maker and ask for ingredients.
