Safe to use hand soap for wounds?

is it safe to use antibacterial handwash/handsoap to clean wounds?Safe to use hand soap for wounds?
Antibacterial soap will do no harm, and actually regular soap itself (without the antibacterial agent) is good for cleansing wounds.

Don't think this would be a problem. May sting a little bit when you first use it though.
