Hand sanitizer will kill the germs on your hands but it will not wash away and dirt or dead bacteria on your hands. This is where washing with soap and water can actually get your hands much cleaner.Does hand sanitizer cleanse as well as soap and water?
You can use hand sanitizer to clean your hands, but soap and water is better for a good clean. I'm a Certified Nursing assistant and we were always taught that it was ok to use hand sanitizer twice but after that we needed to wash our hands with soap and water.
