Hand soap as facwash?

I washed my face with a bar of soap and it got really dry. Are we not supposed to use it was facewash?Hand soap as facwash?

Most bar soap is too harsh for the face and will dry it out. If you strip your face of too much of its natural oils, it can end up overproducing oil to compensate and then you get breakouts. This happened when I used a facewash which dried my skin out too much. Try find a facewash which is less harsh on your face.
Youre not not supposed to, but its not recommended, because its drying, which you've figured out already. Most face washes are made specifically to not over dry your skin, but bar soaps main goal is simply to clean/disinfect
NO NO NO!!!!! Hand soap totally dries up your skin! Use products specifically meant for your face! If your in a hurry, get cleansing pads like clearasil or stridex.
