I got my belly button pierced on Friday. Is it okay if I use Ivory liquid hand soap, instead of Ivory bar soap, to clean it?

Is it okay if I use Ivory liquid hand soap to clean it? Also, is it okay if i use H2Ocean sea salt spray in addition to soap?

Under the top ball, it's red and chaffing a little bit, is that normal?I got my belly button pierced on Friday. Is it okay if I use Ivory liquid hand soap to clean it?
yes it will be ok :)I got my belly button pierced on Friday. Is it okay if I use Ivory liquid hand soap to clean it?
Yes You Can Do All Those Things

And Yhh Its Normal

i Got Mine Done x
they should of told you what to use. i was told to use the clear softsoap
It would be better to clean it with alcohol on a cotton ball for the first week or so....alcohol would keep it from getting infected. The redness is normal at first..you have to keep it from getting infected. very important. pour the alcohol over a cotton ball and squeeze most of it out...wipe around the piercings very gently...do this 3 or 4 times a day.for a week..If the redness gets worse or oozes, see a doctor right away....

Why on earth would you let yourself in for a possiblity of a infection in your navel?.....
When I did it ten years ago, that is what they recommended I use. It still got extremely infected and I had to go to the ER to get it removed. Keep it extremely clean.
It will be okay, but it's better to use an antibacterial soap like Softsoap brand. Use the H2Ocean after it's dried from cleaning it.

It's normal to be a little chafed, but make sure you're not touching it with dirty hands. Wash your hands THOROUGHLY before you even clean it to prevent infection.
The liquid soap should be ok, as long as you rinse really will.

As for the chaffing, try putting a little moisturizer on the skin there. Your skin just hasn't adapted to the presence of the piercing yet.
no.

it'll get infected.

ya the chaffing is normal you just need to wash it with salt water
you should use a soap that is anti-bacterial
hey i got mine done this thursday!!and yeah the cleaning stuff that you have is all fine!mine is slightly red too and it hurts if i touch it by accident which isn't often but still...so i guess it's all normal!
Yea it will be okay though for the first 6 weeks be careful with wat you put on it so that it doesn't sting.

hope for best answer,peace,love,jonas,cena
